Job Description : Job Title: DevOps Engineer Client- CapitalOne/ Royal Cyber Location: McLean VA Type-C2C Positions-2 Rate: $70/hr Responsibilities: Responsible for the day to day operations of all in-house developed, open source, and commercial DevOps tooling owned by the team (Ensuring system availability, performance, capacity, and monitoring through proper response to incidents, events and problems). Develop procedures to automate various systems and tasks (e.g. automating code builds and deployments) using Jenkins, Groovy, Git, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, AWS Execute system administration of hosting platforms capable of running on a variety of frameworks in Java on cloud infrastructures (JBOSS, ReactJS, Tomcat, Java, J2EE). Development and promotion of new DevOps tools to simplify build process and entire continuous delivery pipeline, participate in internal & external technology communities. Employ innovative and secure solutions to ease developer and testing experience. Responsible for coding and troubleshooting tools and services with the Java programming however similar proficiency with Javascript, ReactJS, Django, Go, Python, or Ruby is also desired. Responsible for managing, fine tuning RDS Oracle, Arora MySQL, and DynamoDB databases Responsible for managing DataDog and cloud watch monitors and alerts Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree At least 3 years of experience developing, deploying, testing in AWS public cloud At least 3 years of experience leveraging DevOps methodologies and implementing technology solutions At least 3 years of experience in scripting languages python, and Linux At least 3 years of experience leveraging database querying languages RDS Oracle, DynamoDB, and Arora My SQL At least 3 years of experience leveraging OEM At least 3 years of experience leveraging Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of experience with cloud computing, preferably AWS and its services including S3, EC2, Lambda, R53, Network Load Balancers, At least 4 years of experience delivering big data solutions using open-source languages such as Python, Java, and Spark (nice to have) At least 5 years experience working on data projects with an engineering and data management focus At least 3 years experience in scripting language At least 5 years experience developing full stack software solutions At least 4 years of experience in AWS Cloud computing At least 4 years of experience leveraging database querying languages RDS Oracle, DynamoDB, Arora My SQL At least 3 years of experience in an Agile delivery environment |
